D7 - Appearance - Theme Settings - Add Parent Link - Parent Site Link Example

1. Site Name Link Example

In the black band directly beneath the orange header in the OSU Pine variant, you will see a hierarchical list of links. This list is dynamic, it changes as you progress into the site's hierarchy.

The start of the list, by default, is the name of the site, which contains a link to the site's front page.

Sometimes we may have a site that has a parent organization elsewhere on the web - a good example of this is when we have very large divisional organizations that have many departments and units within them.

We can set a parent link in that top name space that will point to the the current organization's parent site by adding the information into the theme settings.
