You can easily export Biblio data from one Drupal site and use it as an import in another Drupal site.

Biblio provides quite a few different export options.  For the sake of this article, we'll export an RIS format.

Click on an image to make it bigger.
Biblio - Export - Click RIS Link

1. Select RIS File Type

To do this, go to the Biblio list. (The default alias is simply biblio: Ex - http://oregonstate.edu/sitename/biblio. Please note, however, that the URL to this is customizable and might change.)

Once at the list, click the RIS link at the top right corner of your screen.

Biblio - Export - Save File

2. Save File

The file will then be downloaded.  Depending on the browser and settings that you're using, this file might be located in a few different places.  This demonstration uses Firefox 54.0.1.

3. Move File To Desktop

Once the file has downloaded, move it to your desktop.  Rename it, if you wish.

Biblio - Export - Open File

4. Open File In Plain Text Editor

To view the file, you'll need to open it in a plain text editor.

For Windows, typically you can do this by right clicking on the file, clicking Open With, and then selecting Notepad

For Mac, hold down the Control key while clicking on the file, then click on Open With and select TextEdit.
