Before you begin...

You'll need to have an OSU Drupal 7 Announcement feed.

To locate one, go to any OSU Drupal 7 site that has an Announcements block with an RSS feed icon in the corner.

Click the RSS Icon to open the feed.

Please note that feeds appear differently in different browsers. What is shown in the example is how a feed in Firefox appears.

1. Create an Announcements Live Feed

From within your Drupal site, go to Admin menu > Content > Add Content > Feed.

Type of Feed field = OSU Announcements

Note that after you select feed type, all of the following fields will autofill.

2. Change Data

Block Title field - change this to something more closely related to the feed you've chosen.

URL of Your Feed field - this will be auto-filled with an example URL. Replace the cws part of the URL with the domain name of your site, using all lower case letters.

Number of Items to Display field = 5 is the default - change this number, if desired.

Click Save to complete the process.

3. Completed Announcement Feed

The completed Announcement Feed is not what your audience will see.
