1. Create Some Content

Go to Admin Menu > Content > Add Content > Content Type of your choice.

2. Change Text Format

Change the Text Format to Full HTML to display the Button Picker toolbar button.

3. Open Linkit

Add some text and then select the text you wish to use as a link.

Click the Linkit toolbar button to open the Linkit dialog box.

4. Add a Link

Either search for the title of an existing page in the site by using the Search for Content field, or enter an external URL in the Link URL field.

If desired, open the Options field set and add a Title or Target attribute.

Click the Insert Link button.

5. Open Button Picker

Keep your text selected after the link is created.

Click on the Button Picker toolbar button to open its dialog box.

6. Select Button Options

Within the Button Picker dialog box:

Select a color from the color palette.

Select a size by clicking on the desired button.

Click the OK button.

7. Button Created

The button will appear in the text editor.

Click Save.

8. Completed Button

The button will be active on the page once the page is saved.

Hovering over it with your mouse will produce an effect.

9. Test Button Link

Click the button to test it.

10. Link Followed

Whatever you've linked to should appear in the browser.
