1. Go to Roles Screen

From within the Service group type configuration environment, click the Roles tab.

2. Edit Admin Role

By default, the Group module creates the Admin role as the top level role in the group.

The term Admin is really generic and confusing for our users, and the Administrator role is also the name of the top level role for the site. So let's change it.

Click the Edit button for the Admin role.

3. Change Admin Name

Name text field = change to Group Manager.

Click the Save Group Role button.

4. Add a New Group Role

You'll be redirected back to the group's Role tab and the new name will appear in the list.

Now let's add a new role by clicking the Add Group Role button.

5. Add New Role Name

Name text field = enter a name for the new role - our example calls it Group Contributor.

Click the Save Group Role button.

6. Group Role Saved

Once the new role is saved you'll be redirected to the Group Roles screen.

The new role will appear in the list.
