1. Video Media Type Submission Form Sample - Before

If we take a look at the Video submission form right after the Source Fields are added, you'll see that these new fields at the bottom of the form.

We actually don't want these fields to show at all on the submission form because they will be automatically filled when a user uploads adds a video. Making them available for editing will only serve to mislead the user, and possibly mess up some data along the way.

2. Navigate to Video Media Type Form Display Tab

Go to Admin Menu > Structure > Media Types > Video > Manage Form Display

3. Hide Newly Added Source Fields

Notice that there exists a Disabled section at the bottom of the screen.

Drag the Video ID , Video Source Machine Name, and Local URL fields down into this section.

Additionally, we've moved the Published checkbox up over the URL Alias field.

Click the Save button.

Looking at a sample Video submission form, we can now see that the Video ID, Video Source Machine Name, and Local URL fields are appropriately hidden.
