Go to Admin Menu > Configuration > User Interface > Shortcuts.
2. Add Shortcut Set
From the Shortcuts screen:
Click Add Shortcut Set button.
3. Name Shortcut Set
From the Shortcut Set screen:
Set Name text field = enter a name for the shortcut set.
Click the Save button.
4. Delete Unnecessary Links
We don't need the Add Content link, as this shortcut set is for users within a group, which has its own content creation tools.
Click on the Add Content Operations icon to open it.
Click the Delete link.
5. Confirm Link Deletion
A confirmation screen will appear.
Click the Delete button.
6. Add a Shortcut
You'll be returned to the List Links screen.
Click the Add Shortcut button.
7. Add Link
An Add Link screen will appear.
Name text field = enter a name for the link - this is what will appear in the shortcut menu.
Path text field = enter the path, starting with a forward slash(/).
Click the Save button.
8. Completed Link Addition
You will be returned to the List Links screen.
Your new link will appear in the list.
Repeat this process for however many links you want to add to the Shortcut Set.
9. Reorder Links
If you would like to reorder the links, do so by grabbing the "handle" to the left of a link with your mouse and then dragging it to the desired position.
10. Save Links
As you're reordering things, you'll get a message at the top of the screen saying that you have unsaved changes. This is normal.
When reordering is complete, click the Save button.
11. Go to User Profile
Up in the Admin Toolbar, click on your user name to go to your user profile.
12. Go to Shortcuts Screen
From your user profile, click on the Shortcuts tab.
13. Select Shortcut Set
On the Shortcuts screen:
Choose a Set of Shortcuts to Use option set = select the new shortcut set.
Click the Change Set button.
14. Flush Caches
Hover on the Drupal 8 icon in the left side of the Admin Menu.
Click on the Flush All Caches menu item when the menu drops down.
